hello balder ,

I'm making the Win8PE , and so I've to make it in Win8 Release Preview. When I want to the test the win8pe.iso and try to convert it with Balder-Winbuilder to usb stick
an error message came out and stop.

Does it mean Balder-Winbuil can't be used under Win8 ?

Thanks for your help

Hmm.. I have no idea as I cannot test from Windows-8 (no computer with Windows-8 installed)

But have you checked that UAC is set to lowest level (or what ever 'UAC' that is used in windows-8) ???

Maybe Win-8 has some other 'security-blocking-system' that Microsoft love to integrate into everything - and unfortunately - everywhere as well

Basically, I have no experience of Win-8 at all at present time!
However I installed Win8 to my USB harddisk (buffalo 500GB) and run Win8 from there.
I tested run WinBuilder from my Win8 on USB harddisk and there was no problem at all - working fine :)
However I only run a 'preview Windows-8' system

Hmm... Maybe there is something strange with the beta version you use ???
Anyway it worked fine from the win8 system I tested to :)

Attention! Found a minor bug in script 'Install and run Win-8 from USB.script'
Please download and completely replace folder 'balder' to fix this

hello balder

Sorry , I made a mistake. I was failed because I forgot to run Winbuilder as "Administrator" , as Win7 doesn't needed.

It's that simple.

Thanks
