Hi there,
I am new at easyboot, and i am trying to create a brand new project, and i got some question:
1-How do i change the working directory?
2-How do i begin a new project?
3-How do i set a background image?

Tried allready to change the run dir into the desktop icon, but no luck. Trying to work in the default dir but if i change the name of the default background it gives back an error

thank to all

Answer to "1": If its the ezboot that you want to change then I can't help you!

Asnwer to "2": Check out the example (how the EZboot starts an ezb file automatically) Don't forget to mess around with Mouse for a while!  :D Check each Tabs and see what they are and what they do... and ofcourse most important of all SEE THE HELP BUTTON!

Answer to "3": Since you're starting, check the image format of the default background. If you're good enough, you will figure out all info from the default background BMP file. Again don't forget Help button!

I don't see a need of waiting in this forum for your kind of questions as all major answers are provided in the "HELP" feature in BRIEF! I actually read the whole thing and now I feel I'm a monster of EZB!

Oxtie you are quite right a lot of peeps here are asking really basic questions without I think even reading the help files, i know it may be hard for someone just trying easyboot for the first time, and everyone has to learn thats the good thing about the forums, but some people seem to be looking for solutions without even putting any effort in to it before asking for answers, anyways thats my opinion still love the program just wish there were more people new about the forum the more the merrier :D

btw did you ever have any luch with acronis recovery manager i aint managed to get it going from a image yet :(

I really don't like other program's help file as they usually don't provide screenshots and proper description or they don't answer to the reason why we click HELP Menu/buttons.

EZBoot's Help managed to give me all asnwers while it managed to give me extra information!  ??? Now this is the reason why I preffer it. There may be still plenty of information NOT provided there as professionally as Microsoft but I'm #### sure that as the program evolve, Help of this program will be stronger then ever.

I believe this because it is not as huge as MS-Office or so called "Giant" program. Usually such programs do not require too much of knowledge. In huge programs, when I get curious, I click Help menus then, I see a HUGE paragraph which makes sick while thinking "Who the #### is gonna read this much"! But this is certainly not the case in here!

Very frankly speaking, I don't even know what that is! I am so satisfied with the available tools such as PowerQuest Drive Image, Ghost and Partition Magic. By reading the name of that software, I just guessed that it must be something similear to the above mentioned software so, waste of my time to grab it from NET.

However, Now I'm curious as I've seen this name in plenty of topics. If I find any difference or enhancement then the above programs then I might give it a try....  :D
