When I am starting too RIP an ISO image from a CD, why does it nearly kill the program and my PC?

Am I doing something wrong?

Your CD may be copy-protected, which includes many bad sectors. UltraISO will try to read each sector many times, so it will be very slow. A third-party program named CloneCD is recommanded to handle this kind of CDs.
