Hello Xoben,

This is some feature I strongly suggest (along with a lot of member from the MSFN forums) and it is about copy protection. I am mainly using EasyBoot but I think those features would be best suited for UltraISO.

1- the "hide folder" feature of UltraISO is a real wonder,  it would be even better if it was irreversible (that is Extract an ISO with UltraISO or WinISO an not being able to make them visible again)
2- Would it be possible to add something to prevent the burned CD to be ISO extracted or copied?

The purpose of these feature are well suited for Administrator, Software creator and Unattended Installation of Windows

I think it should not be irreversible. That's again a problem for ourselves.
Rather, what can be done:

an option in ultraiso to add a "filler" file.  This should bloat the size of CD to more than 1 GB. But the *ORIGINAL* image should stay unaffected (so that it can be burned to CD). But after burning to CD, if you make an ISO from it, you should end up with a 1 GB ISO - which is only burnable to DVD. So that will keep out a lot of those who copy CD-to-CD because DVD is costly.

Maybe an option to bloat image to 5 GB can be made too? And this option can be suitably named with a warning.

Can it be possible?  :)  It would be very nice.

Think about it prathapml, with this feature you can burn a Final ISO and then nobody would be able to steal the content of it! Perfect for our Unattended CDs. I don't mind if someone is able to copy my CD, it will be outdated if not maintained... but I don't want anybody to see my code, tweak, etc.

I like the Idea that nobody can see the content of the CD when you put it in a CD drive...

Of course, if there is a Copy protection added it would be a kick ass feature!  :)

Xoben, keep in mind the first request is more important!  :D

and prathapml, remember that I have more post than you here! Na nah nah  :p  Just kidding!
