I am using the PX-716A via a firewire bridge instead of a direct IDE connection. I haven't tested it yet using an IDE connection. It could be that if the PX-716A were connected via an IDE port that I would not have this failure. Does anyone know if PX-716A DVD-RW burners usually allow for Optimum Power Calibration? (It seems to me they should given the specs.)
