Hi

I was using ultraISO for all our boot cds and it worked fine so far for desktop computers and notebooks

I have this floppy that worked fine as a bootable device. I burned a dvd with the same files in the floppy disk and it works only for the desktop computers. Whenever i try to boot a notebook from cdrom, the screen shows about 5 funny characters, such as smily faces and slashes and freezes there.

I need help!

This is a BIOS related problem, it is recommanded to try to make a bootable CD/DVD with no-emulation mode with EasyBoot, BCDW, or cdshell.
