Forum: UltraISO Topic: .pxi to .bin/.cue -> no CD-Text started by: lupin_III Posted by lupin_III on Apr. 02 2005,05:45
I want to convert a pxi image to a .bin image, because i can`t mount an pxi image. And my problem is that Ultraiso don`t show me the cd-text, who is included in the pxi image. And in the final .bin images there is no cd-text, too. Why ?Can show UltraIso CD-Text of pxi Images ? Can UltraIso convert pxi images into another format and including the CD-Text information? I hope someone can help me ! Posted by xoben on Apr. 02 2005,06:29
Yes, three files will be created when converting .PXI to .BIN format: .BIN, .CUE and .CDT . The .CDT file is the CD-TEXT file. Posted by lupin_III on Apr. 02 2005,08:26
Ok, and with which program can i mount this created .bin image, so that i can play the cd in winamp and see the cd-text ?Or is this not possible? Posted by xoben on Apr. 02 2005,09:07
Most CD emulation software can emulate .BIN images with CD-TEXT, such as Daemon-Tools, Alcohol 120%, and SoftDisc (http://www.ezbsystems.com/softdisc).PS: Some CD player may use only CDDB to get CD information (not use CD-TEXT). Posted by lupin_III on Apr. 03 2005,05:48
Thanks for your answers, i have fixed my problem now.I`ve mounted the .bin image with daemon-tools and opened the mounted cd with EAC, where i switched on the option "cd-text read capable drive". And so i can rip the image with cd-text ![]() UltraIso is a very nice Tool ! Is there a CD emulation software who can mount .pxi images directly? Perhaps the successor of the Daemon-Tools? |
