Hello

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, neither if this is the right question.. But I was wondering if it is possible to create a customized Live XP cd from an already installed OS. I mean' suppose I clean installed XP SP3 on my HD, and the entire installation with all my driver and software is less than 2GB in size. Can I backup my partition to an Image like ghost or true image or perhaps a Ramdisk image and convert it into a live bootable ISO image? I know that such a live CD will only work with the original hardware that was used to create it. And I know that this type of setup' if possible, will require a mountable RAMDISK so the live OS could use a writable media, but still is this possible, and if so, what tools do I need to accomplish this?

Thanks

You can make disk image of your active bootable drive.
you can load bootabl disk images by qemu, but because of very large size
i am not sure that it will work.
Any way do as below by your own risk:

1.make disk.image of your c: drive by 3rd party and save that somewhere
2.use qemu command for runing that.if you are not familiar by qemu, you can
use MobaLiveCD 2.1 to do the job for you (MobaLiveCD 2.1 uses qemu commands to run usb, cd ,and ...)

If you did ,please inform me from resalts
