@LazaBre

Welcome LazaBre

Please, you have to practise a lot of “test and trial”. Keep also in mind to only integrate one “system” each time you test and not all stuff at once as these most likely mix things up for you :p
Generally you can’t expect to have everything served on a “silver plate” (unfortunately you are not alone asking for these “super-tutorials”). A way to success is mostly to act humble (at least in my world :;): ). Please take you time and do not give up.
Anyway - I think you can use my scripts to achieve what you are asking for.

You first download ”Startkit” < HERE > – it’s a zip-file. Extract folder winbuilder from this zip-file (extract to disk C:\). Inside folder winbuilder you have “winbuilder.exe” double-click to this exe-file and you are up and going

Attention read here as well; On my web-site you can continue to “More scripts with information how to handle winbuilder is located here” and there you also have description how to handle script and where to extract downloaded script.
Note: every time you extract a new script into winbuilder you must restart winbuilder.exe so that winbuilder can register the new script in its "brain".

About WinBuilder and my scripts. When you have started winbuilder.exe - do not push “PLAY”-button in the upper right corner – forget this button. It is the “Start-button” in script that starts process of script.
Note: Each script has a working area named “Main Process” or "Main Section” and in this section you always have a Start-button and also a tiny “Help-button”. Press help-button in each script to get some basic help what script does and if there are settings you get some basic explanation how to handle this.

Attention! Nearly all scripts need some basic settings typically: "Scroll to where folder i386 is placed. Don't open folder i386." Or "Where is EasyBoot installed? Scroll and open folder EasyBoot" or "Set new name to folder i386 here” or “Name is case sensitive use CAPS”.
You must of course help script with these basic settings before you press Start-button in script.

@LazaBre

Concerning Ubuntu: I downloaded ISO-file “Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 (32-bit)” as test object for this mission :p

I was not successful when trying to directly launch ISO-file as it is :(  – so I have to use this “standard” solution, which was successful :)

Do as following:
1. Copy everything from inside of ubuntu.iso to Easyboot\disk1
2. Extract boot-file from ubuntu.ISO-file (I used UltraIso for this operation – using “Save boot file” in UltraIso) put extracted boot-file to folder ezboot with name ubuntu.bif
3. Create menu and use command:  bootinfotable;run ubuntu.bif
4. Create ISO - do not check DOS(8.3) - when creating ISO. All the rest of options are not sensitive for function to ubuntu. This means – that if you need to check “Allow Lower Case” that’s fine.

Hi

Just for information

As billonious says in link below:

< http://www.ezbsystems.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=2071 >

ubuntu (and some other linux based bootable medias) has different boot
construction and we can not run them by command (infotable;run *.bif).
ubuntu looks for isolinux folder in the root and load whatever is inside
that.and we can not fix this process by hex editting.

So for running Ubuntu (I have tested Ubuntu 7.10) by EasyBoot follow steps below:

1.Extract all contents of Ubuntu DVD to ...\EasyBoot\disk1 directory.

2.Make sure that file “isolinux.bin” is inside ...\EasyBoot\disk1\isolinux\ directory.

3.In EasyBoot menu use command below:

bcdw/isolinux/isolinux.bin /casper/vmlinuz initrd=/casper/initrd.gz

@madar

Yes I know this limits madar but I recently tested “Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 (32-bit)” and this version didn’t hesitate to launch – but as you points out – there are differences in what version you use ???

Dear balder
Thanks a lot,just our new year is about 3 months later

@madar

Yes I know that to as well (easy to find with google) :;):
As I’m a true lover of spring - as it is so da** :angry:  cold up her in North part of Europe in winter time, I’m always exciting when spring arrives :p  – best part of the year if you ask me :cool:
And now my wife shout that we should take a walk (in the snow) - so here I'm forced out in the cold weather - but it is nice as well :)
