@looknguide

Welcome to this forum @looknguide :)

Let’s start with Acronis :;):
Do it this way:

1. Create “rescue ISO-file” using Acronis “Bootable Rescue Media Builder” (you have this option in Acronis)
2. Put created ISO in folder ezboot
3. Use menu command in EasyBoot:  bcdw /ezboot/restore.iso
Note: you may need to adjust file name “restore.iso “ to the one you get when creating ISO file

-----------------------------------
Solution for “bart pe disk” :p

1. Copy everything from BartPE-build – folder i386 and programs folder and tag files (win51 etcetera) to EasyBoot\disk1
2. In menu use command: run w2ksect.bin (you should have w2ksect.bin in folder ezboot and you can of course rename this file to something more appropriated name like: bartpe.bin and use menu command: run bartpe.bin)
------------------------------------

And to the a little bit more complicated HDD Regenerator :O
Do it this way:

1. Use built-in facility in HDD Regenerator to create a bootable CD (I used a RW-CD).
2. We need Boot-file from created CD (in my case the RW-CD). Start UltraIso and choose “Bootable>Extract boot file from CD\DVD”.
3. Save extracted boot file (CDROM.bif) to folder ezboot. In menu use command: run CDROM.bif (You can of course rename CDROM.bif to something else).

--------------------------------------
Create ISO-file as usual in EasyBoot and test (I test my ISO-files in Virtual PC).

hye balder,
thank you very much for your reply.

BartPE work excellent through EasyBoot, but i got problem with acronis disk director suide 10 and hdd regenerator 171, both doesn't find my SATA drive with 250 gb seagate. while acronis disk director work fine in BartPE without any problem. if u know how to solve this let me write back please.
thanks

If I understand you right – Easyboot is able to launch HDD Regenerator and the same to Acronis – using my tutorial? Correct? But then none of mentioned software can find your harddisk, because it’s a sata disk?
Quote: “while acronis disk director work fine in BartPE without any problem”. This is probably related to that you have integrated sata drivers into BartPE :)

Please test without using EasyBoot – I mean test (burn) a CD-RW with originally software.
Test with burning HDD Regenerator to a CD-RW and the same test for Acronis.
Does HDD Regenerator and Acronis find your harddisk then? If software still cant find your sata disk there is nothing I can do – as far as I know :(

i find that acronis disk director boot disk don't work alone but with bartpe it work,

Hmmm Yes and No in same time ???
I think this is related to your BIOS :O
BIOS should report to Acronis (as example) what disk units that are connected to motherboard.

Acronis doesn’t use any drivers (as far as I know) to recognize disk units – Acronis (or ghost or whatever) use “report” from BIOS to find out what hardware that is used.

Some BIOS manufactures doesn’t makes life easier to live – that’s my opinion :(

Now i know it is not possible with my motherboard to used acronis disk director or HDD Regenerator but can i used norton ghost and partition magic with Easyboot? I got paragon hard disk manager and partition manager as well. i want partition manger on my easyboot CD so i dont need to run bartpe first for that.

would you please explain it for me ...
thanks

@looknguide

There are several solutions to this problem - depending of what version of Paragon software you have - you can test with launch paragon partition manager ISO-file directly – read < HERE
>
Or test my script “EasyBoot-ISO” to see if it can manage to launch ISO-file as it is.

@ balder

recently i have add acronis true image on my easyboot cd n it work perfect without any error. i dont understand this acronis disk director cant find my SATA drive but true image can. so is this software source code problem or still BIOS problem?

@looknguide have you tested this “standard procedure” to integrate Acronis latest possibilities (creating rescue ISO-files).

Do it this way:
1. Create “rescue ISO-file” using Acronis “Bootable Rescue Media Builder” (you have this option in Acronis)
2. Put created ISO in folder ezboot
3. Use menu command in EasyBoot:  bcdw /ezboot/restore.iso
Note: you may need to adjust file name “restore.iso “ to the one you get when creating ISO file

If this doesn’t work (Acronis can’t find you Sata disk) I’m pretty sure it is a BIOS problem - or mix of motherboard-BIOS problem as BIOS seems to not give Acronis the right information :(

You do not “run script” in EasyBoot. Script(s) is run in a “script-engine” (Winbuilder.exe).

Read help on my web site and push help button in each script to get some basic information.
However, as I suggested you to use EasyBoot-ISO.script I will give you some basic information for the good sake.

When you have “activated” EasyBoot-ISO.script (see help on web site how to activate script) you have to help script with some basic settings. You set where EasyBoot is installed (if EasyBoot already is installed on C:\ you don’t need to do anything with that setting in script). If you have installed EasyBoot somewhere else (on Disk D: or whatever) change this accordingly (scroll to where folder Easyboot is).

Next thing is to set a nice name to ISO-file that you want to integrate into your EasyBoot-build. Let’s say I like to integrate Acronis rescue ISO-file – then I do it this way:
1. I set a nice name to Acronis ISO-file (I write in ACRONIS) Note: use BIG LETTERS =CAPS to name.
2. I push Start Button and follow instruction when script asks for info etcetera.
3. In the end I get a complete command line to use - in this example I will be recommended to use following menu command in EasyBoot:  “run ACRONIS.img”.

Don't forget to check "Allow LowerCase" when creating ISO in EasyBoot!

That’s all :)
