Hi, maybe you guys lend me a hand.

I at work have several dozen IBM BladeCenters (HS20 and HS40) in which each the "BladeServers" are connected to a USB hub in order to access the USB CDROM and Floppy drive. As you may already know, the Panasonic USB MSDOS direct-access drivers cannot detect these devices. With this in mind, I had no choice but to use the El Torito CDROM driver with the help of EasyBoot. The driver loads properly as well as the MSCDEX.EXE, however, everytime I attempt to access the CDROM drive, I get this message:

CDR103: CDROM not High Sierra or ISO-9660 format reading drive X
Abort, Retry, Fail?

The question: Where in EasyBoot do I set to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

The problem relates to DOS USB driver, FreeDOS may include one ... not sure for that.

Thanks for reply. The problem may not be related to the DOS USB driver because it wasn't even loaded.

Anyway, I have now found a workaround.

I was using the Phoenix Technology's El Torito Driver and not the one from Bart's (http://www.nu2.nu). I didn't use Bart's El Torito mainly because it contained too many advertisements of his site. Anyway, the Phoenix's El Torito driver conflicts with Microsoft's EMM386.EXE...among other conflicts. And quite strange is that I had to use Nero Burning ROM to use CDROM Boot and have to set the floppy image to emulate a floppy driver instead the other way around. Therefore, in this case, Easyboot is no good here.

You can also try another utility named Boot CD Wizard, which comes with another disk emulator, and BCDW can be used with EasyBoot as whole.
