I've checked out lot many versions of old DiskEmu cores However only EZB's DEmu core seems to have this problem. When the customised version of DOS boots to protected mode it looses the information of Floppy Disk! And the result? I see a prompt repeating "insert floppy disk" and in some other PCs, Freezing the entire computer! (p1 & p2 based pcs)

I understand that its hard to debug but If you compare the old diskemu of bart with yours, there are chances that my problem can be solved. Now this is because Bart's diskemus don't show me any errors but the EZB versions does!

Under simple single Image based emulation, my customised version of DOS boots perfectly. (size approx 3 mb). I can give you guys this image so people can test around (if you really wanted.)

Right, The image file just boots to protected mode (enabling Shell Command Prompt of Win98) so basically I get a LongFileName support etc etc.

Really not worth downloading if you're not part of diskemus dev! besides I always lack storage on web server these days.

And about free dos programs, Google around and you get good old apps.  :D Anyhow, My image has nothing more then start-up drivers that enable the mentioned DOS!
