@AMGAs you are a new member I say welcome @AMG Quote: "starting EasyBoot then starting NBRT and stop it" Unfortunately I do not have this NBRT.ISO-file in my position This makes it difficult to solve your request Could you please tell me what menu command you used in Easyboot menu to launch this "Norton rescue ISO-file" Note: I'm pretty sure this kind of Norton rescue ISO-files is built using Windows NT6-system as source (NT6-systems are typically Vista or Win-7 or server-2008). Open ISO-file (you can use UltraIso to open ISO) If you have folders: "boot" and folder "EFI" and folder "sources" and a file "bootmgr" inside ISO-file, then I can guarantee ISO is built using Windows NT6-system. And if this is the case you can test following: 1. Copy your Norton rescue nbrt.iso-file to folder ezboot 2. Set menu command in EasyBoot menu to: run nbrt.iso (or whatever name you have to ISO-file) You don't need to check anything when creating ISO in Easyboot. Then use "Write USB Disk..." in EasyBoot to move your EasyBoot-build to USB drive Final note: if ISO is different than described above - let me know (tell me what is inside ISO-file when opened ISO using UltraIso) balder Posted by AMG on Oct. 24 2011,04:52
HelloStep 1 - I maked from Norton Bootable Recovery Tool-Assistent (3.5.0.23) a iso file Step 2 - Copy your Norton rescue nbrt.iso-file to folder ezboot and set menu command in EasyBoot menu to: run nbrt.iso and making from UltraISO (V 9.5.0.2800) a USB Stick Step 3 - Booting from USB Stick the nbrt.iso then come this Posted by balder on Oct. 24 2011,06:09
@AMGQuote: "ISO-Datei erstellen" I noticed you have option: "ISO-Datei erstellen" use that option to your USB drive. Point is we are interested what files that is put on the root Note: I found another different Norton tool "Symantec.Endpoint.Recovery.Tool.2.0.24" To make this run correctly from USB I did following: 1. Created a folder "SOURCES" in folder disk1 2. Used UltraIso to extract folder "DRIVERS" and folder "SYMANTEC_NBRT" from norton.iso-file into folder "SOURCES" in folder disk1 I needed this folders inside folder "SOURCES" in folder disk1 - otherwise Norton couldn't find it's files and drivers. 3. As option I used UltraIso and deleted folder "DRIVERS" and folder "SYMANTEC_NBRT" in folder "SOURCES" in ISO-file as these folders isn't used there anymore - Norton is looking for folders on the "root" and not inside launched ISO-file (Norton ISO-file launched by EasyBoot menu) Note: it is not needed to delete folders - I'm doing it because it speeds up transfer of the EasyBoot-build to USB drive (ISO is reduced inside which makes it faster to move to USB drive). But as said - not needed if you find it difficult to do. You can take a look at a similar scenario < HERE > In post nr;4 in topic you have a download-link how to reduce size to ISO-file (delete files and folders not needed inside ISO anymore). The main issue is - what do you have in folder "SOURCES" in your ISO-file Open ISO (I use UltraIso) and if there is more than the file "BOOT.WIM" - then those files and folders must be copied (extracted from ISO) to a folder "SOURCES" in folder disk1 Note: file BOOT.WIM must be left in ISO and should NOT be extracted to folder disk1 balder Posted by AMG on Oct. 25 2011,05:17

@AMGQuote: "When starting usb stick NBRT then come this" Please read again post nr;4 Attention! You don't need to use script at all Simply copy norton.iso-file to folder ezboot and use menu command: run norton.iso (or whatever name you set to iso-file) However as I wrote in post nr;4 You need to LOOK INSIDE norton.iso-file (I used UltraIso) and examine what files and folders that is inside norton.iso-file Could you please check out what's inside Norton.iso-file (including what's inside folder "SOURCE" in ISO-file) regards balder Posted by AMG on Oct. 26 2011,08:25
