1, What's new
 +) Supports Vista boot loader
+) New command 'memdisk', can run floppy/hdd image file with isolinux/memdisk by H. Peter Anvin
+) Option to allow lowercase in filenames on making an ISO image
*) Improved large floppy image support (run)

2, Download site

3, Additional information
 - Adding Windows Vista to your bootable DVD
Copy folder "BOOT", "EFI", and "SOURCES" from root directory of Vista setup DVD to "C:\easyboot\disk1"
Copy file "BOOTMGR" (and "BOOTMGR.EFI" if exist) from root directory of Vista setup DVD to "C:\easyboot\disk1"
use command 'run vistaldr.bin' to load it

 - Emulating floppy/hdd image in memory
use command 'memdisk' , works just like 'run'. For example:
 'memdisk setup98.img'
Note: HDD image is supported, and the disk emulated is writable

I'm also find a application which can mounted a bootable ISO on DOS mode.. because is useful can someone tell us how to do it and what is the step procedure?
Posted by mmarx82 on Dec. 16 2008,09:07
you can use the command bcdw

Ex:
bcdw /ezboot/diskimages/dell9506.iso

or for emulation:
bcdw /ezboot/isolinux.bin /ezboot/memdisk initrd=/ezboot/diskimages/pcdoctor.img

so if you need to emulate a disk you need the isolinux bin file and the memdisk file in your ezboot forlder and reference them like I did above and finally call your img or iso file in the initrd tag.

as you can tell I keep my images in another folder called diskimages because I have over 30 iso's and img files I boot from. this keeps them seperate from my menu's and the pictures I use in my menus.

This should get you started, at least you can search the forums with the information I just gave you since I don't get on here often, only when I'm updating my disk which is now 3 years in the making.

Hello,

I'm sorry for my english.

No Help for bootable ISO files. I have tried everything,

bcdw /ezboot/xxx.iso
bcdw /ezboot/isolinux.bin memdisk initrd=/ezboot/xxx.iso

but every ISO DOS based or Linux based, every time this problem

error: unexpected exiting

but everything function OK with VirtualPC

Why ?

Can you help me ?

Thankx

bosspakman ???

bosspakman, this is a problem with BCDW and some machines, I suggest trying to find another method for starting your iso's. Try using "run" instead of "bcdw" in your command, however if your iso's require write access that will not work either, in which case I suggest searching the forum back "to the beginning" since many answers were found back in 05-06 time frame.

Yes, EasyBoot make multiboot DVD only for Windows 98,200,XP, and Vista.
But  Windows 7 don't boot by DOS. I think the problam is in "vistaldr.bin"

Any advice?! Help Me !!!

"Windows 7 don't boot by DOS. I think the problam is in "vistaldr.bin"...

Whatt the comand line to run The Win Seven? think is vistaldr.bin is for vista...  :D  ???

"sevenldr.bin" no? :p

@fardeep

Welcome to this forum @fardeep :)

To make Win7 to launch setup do as following:

1. Copy everything from inside of Win7-ISO to EasyBoot\disk1
2. In EasyBoot menu use command:  run Vistaldr.bin
3. Check that you have file Vistaldr.bin in folder ezboot

When creating ISO in EasyBoot, don’t check DOS(8:3), and don’t check “Allow Lower Case” :O

Note: For the record - DOS is not used when launching Vista or Win7 :;):

"Copy everything from inside of Win7-ISO to EasyBoot\disk1"

Yes y copy, and y cop the xpprosp3, and the vista ultimate, one question the name of the files are = and this need to replace files with same name...   Y think i'not put some files of diferent windows on one folder the names of folders are same =

@fardeep

You can only integrate one of the NT6 or NT7 Windows system to Easyboot :O

You have to choose between Vista and/or Win7. Only one of this Windows system can be integrated at same time as they use same folder names :(
Note: there is for present time no known solution how to “hex edit” these NT systems the same way we can hex edit NT5 systems (WinXP-family).

I did a simple search in EasyBoot-forum (used search-button in the upper right corner) and found a lot of different solutions to this issue of yours :O

Anyway – the easiest way is to use my script "easyboot-iso.script" to solve your request :;):
Download script collection below in this post (read carefully “READ_ME.html”-document how to manage scripts)

Note: as I’m pretty sure that ERD-2009 is based on a NT-6 system (Vista & Win-7 is NT-6) – you do not need to check “Run ISO from RAM” in script.
However - if you have a folder i386 inside ISO-file you need to check "Run ISO from RAM".
Conclusion - if a folder i386 is present inside ISO-file - then this is ERD-7 and not ERD-9 :;):

Sorry I still do not understand what you mean ???

If you are interested to integrate Hiren into EasyBoot then use my script “easyboot-iso.script” :;):

You have collections of scripts for download below :)
Study carefully “READ_ME.html” in download :O
Note: Most likelly "easyboot-iso.script" is able to correctly integrate Hiren-DLC_v2
------------------------------------------------

EDIT:
Have found and downloaded ” Hiren's.BootCD.13.0.Rebuild.v2.0.iso”.
I used my script “easyboot-iso.script” to integrate Hiren (pushed separate optional button “Integrate Hiren’s BOOT-CD”)

Attention!
You also need to extract every file that is outside folder HBCD in Hiren ISO-file (I used UltraIso to open Hiren ISO-file)
Extract files to folder disk1 in Easyboot.
Note: folder HBCD is already extracted by “easyboot-iso.script” but script does not extract files from outside of folder HBCD - you have to do this manually!

sorry
but i can not insert hiren boot in easy boot

show me this error:

@SD2

What method did you use to integrate Hiren ???

Did you use my script “easyboot-iso.script” and pushed separate optional button “Integrate Hiren’s BOOT-CD” ???

Only check “Allow lower case” and “Joliet” when creating ISO in EasyBoot.

You can also test using “memdisk hiren.img” in EasyBoot menu to see if it responds better.

I can’t see why you having any problem with this ???

I have downloaded this DLC-version of ISO and successfully used script to integrate Hiren into Easyboot (read in post nr; 19)

Attention! Scripts are updated – please do a new download!
Note: Integrating Hiren’s boot-cd in easyboot-iso.script is updated!
Script now automatically extract all needed files even to modified versions of Hiren’s boot-cd :;):

Thanks for your response @nikkil :;):

It's been a while sense I constructed some of the scripts - must admit I have some difficulties follow process in the 'older' scripts at this point

Note: I'm not going to discuss how scripts work, as this forum is dedicated to EasyBoot
However scripts (most of them) are dedicated to only support EasyBoot
