Im Making a 2k(sp4) + XP(sp1a) CD.
I used this Shruid's way

to make my CD.
1. made Dir C:\multicd
2.copied 2k installation to it along with all cdrom files namely CDROM_IP.5, CDROM_NT.5, cdromsp2.tst, cdromsp4.tst.

(I've been using this setup for 9 months now).

3.Renamed I386 to "WN2K"

3 i have the SETUPLDR.bin & the TXTSETUP.SIF edited & all Occurences  of i386 changed to "wn2k"

4.Have the Bootsector File Edited & changed I386 to "WN2K"

Now the Setup starts fine for win2k but after the Textmode when GUI starts i get an Error Dialog stating

.....failed to install Product Catalogs fatal error. presssing Ok gives me an Error Log which states that "Signature for

windows 2000 Professional is invalid error code 800b003
I have the XP's i386 copied to the Root of CD as well & the Reqd cd files namely WIN51, WIN51IP, win51ip.SP1 also to

the root. So now i have Directory Structure as

[I386]    [WN2K]   CDROM_IP.5, CDROM_NT.5   cdromsp2.tst    cdromsp4.tst    xp SERIAL.txt   win51ip.SP1
WIN51IP         WIN51           AUTORUN.INF     SETUP.EXE

can u pls Guide me if im Mixing up something . Why is 2k setup not getting the signature fi

I have no time to check your method step by step, but some advice here:
1) Keep Windows 2000 unchanged (i386 as original)
2) Add a windows xp as a previous topic < http://www.ezbsys.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=1;t=166 >
