Hi
Just wondering if anyone know how does the optimise option works under make ISO?

Does it reference or store only 1 File on CD/DVD if 2 files are the same?

what about if 2 Files are exact same size with exact same timestamp but the content is not? How can it tell?

Does it store any temporary file while optimising it any where on the system?

Thanks
Binh

Yes.

Same size and same MD5 signature (of content), not related to timestamp.

No.

Would there be any reason not to use Optimization?
