Topic: Is there any way to recover hidden EasyBoot files?

I created a bootable DVD project using EasyBoot. One of the menus is a screen that lists all my various product keys for Windows XP, Windows 2000, etc. This was a carefully laid out screen with a fairly complex layout.

My original seems to have become corrupted. Everytime I try to open that menu called "KEYS.EZB" I get an error that reads "Background image open error!".

I was hoping to recover this menu from a DVD I had burned previously. The problem is that when I burned it I used the options to Hide the bot folder and to Hide all files in boot folder.

Is there any way I can access those files on the disc?

I just want to avoid having to spend lots of time rebuilding this whole menu from scratch.

Common dude! Ever heard of ISO Buster? Its a smart decision to put such an exe file on the CD itself. Your images will be located under Folder that has "Apple" logo. This does make some sense... ??? Martin, are you Hiding Partitions by making it in Apple's Mac partition? :p I don't really know the name of Apple's partition... :D Never used one and not bothered to...

Thanks, Oxtie - ISOBuster did the trick. Thank god, that saved me a heck of a lot of time.

You know, I've been through your situation... Created CD, deleted the entire back-up then realized some sick bug and got my ass up the hook! :D The good old program kept ICE on my baby ass! I really like this kind of panic situation... makes me discover some crazy things... :p

To access hidden files, you can use UltraISO this way:

1) Make a CD image from your bootable CD/DVD
2) Open the image by UltraISO, you can see all hidden files and directories
