You can do it this way:
   1) Make a directory such as c:\winxp
   2) Copy all files from the orginal CD to c:\winxp
   3) Slipstream service pack to c:\winxp\i386 by runing the xxxsp1.exe with the right option
   4) Extract boot loader from original CD by UltraISO (use Make CD Image, and select Extract boot image), save as winxp.bif
   5) Run UltraISO, add all files under c:\winxp to image, and load winxp.bif as boot image, set volume label as you desired
   6) Save the ISO file and burn it

I downloading the latest version of UltraISO. I am trying to burn a new version on Norton NSW with the latest signature files. I have read the message on making a bootable XP cd, but the instructions are confusing starting at step 4. I have placed the NSW cd in my drive and located 2 files. The files are bootcat.bin and bootimg.bin. If I press F5, all the files have been extracted to an ISO image. I need to find out which bin files do I convert to a bif file?
Any suggestions?

thanks

Press F5, select "Extract boot image", then click 'make' to get your boot image file.
