Topic: Converting DVD nrg to iso = no video disk

I've created a Nero DVD video image of a not copy-protected DVD. I can mount this image in Alcohol 120% and rip streams from it using DVD Decrypter.

Now when I convert this image to .bin or .iso with Ultraiso and mount it, DVD Decrypter tells me it's not a video disk so I can't rip anything from it. IIRC video DVDs have to have certain files in certain positions on the disc (just like boot disks), so maybe Ultraiso does not translated the files porperly? Is this a limitation of the 7.1 trial version? TIA!

UltraISO converts .NRG to .ISO sector by sector, so file position should not be changed. (You can mount original NRG image and newly converted ISO image by Alcohol, and use ISOBuster to see LBAs of files).

PS: I will try DVD Decrypter later.

A bug related converting DVD-Video image in .NRG format has been fixed now, please re-download the lastest build from < http://www.ezbsystems.com/download1.php?file=uiso7_me.exe > .

Thanks Moon for the bug report.

Thanks Moon for the bug report.

Thanks for working on it so fast. Unfortunately it still does not work for me. Both with ISO and BIN DVD Decrypter 3.2.0.0 (latest version) says 'disc not DVD'. I don't know but maybe Decrypter is more picky about specs than DVD Shrink or PowerDVD cause both of them do run the converted images?!

Still weird to see that the original nrg image is recognized just fine. Any suggestions?
