Since you allowed me to beta test the 7.21 ME version that will be ?soon released? with I hope other features and bug fixes...if any others are discovered :;):, I would like to ask about the other formats to be added for CD creation.

How does the CCD format benefit in CD Backups compared to ISOs (Data Track Only), BIN/CUE (DATA/AUDIO Tracks)? Since I was not at first familar with the other formats aside from the NRG format which I do know about since I use Nero. But now I understand the uses of the BIN/CUE format from beta testing it, I would like to know more about CCD.

By the way, I looked up the CloneCD website and basically the lines that stand out to me is that it saves CD protection information lines... so is this the basic benefit of using the CCD format?

PS: Thanks one more time, xoben, for letting me beta test your software. (It felt pretty cool)

Not completely related to this topic but things I noticed when making a CCD and a NRG just to test them...
When I right click the window that lists the files on a particular drive, there is no option to refresh this in the popup menu. But there is in the little titlebar menu. Since I perfer using pop up menus since I'm so acustom to the mouse now I'd like to ask that a Refresh option be added to this menu.
Also if there was some way to view the entire contents of the new formats to display audio tracks at least and whatever else that may be associated to view these file formats.

Thanks,
Ieremiou

CCD format include a .sub file, which keeps sub-channel information of your original CDs, and some copy-protection information may reside there.

You can burn .CCD image by CloneCD/Alcohol 120%/BlindWrite 5, or emulate by SoftDisc directly.

Mmm ok. Very nice.. But there is no support to burn a CCD image from what I can tell... I suppose for protection? or for something else?

Thanks though.. I'll try SoftDisc.. It seems to have some nice options for me.

Sorry, as Version 7.21 will be released very soon, we will not add any new features. But we would like to add a 'Refresh' item to popup menu at final release.

Thanks fro your understanding.

Yep, I figured you wanted to get this out soon but that's a suggestion for next version...
