So I guess UI supports dual layer formats.  The only question, is how do you view or edit layer 0, and layer 1 seperately?  I'm not ready to spend $10-15/disc to back up DVD9s, but I need to pull files from layer1 to put on disc 2 when backing up to DVD5.  Also, does/will UI support starting certain files at certain segments?  TIA.

The file system on DVD9 discs is only ONE but across both layers (you can treat it as a normal DVD with large capacity), so there is no simply way to get two separate DVD5 images - one from layer 0 and another from layer 1.

PS: If your DVD9 disc is DVD-Video, a third-party utility named DVDShrink may help you to put it on a DVD5 disc.

Thanks, that helps.  I have one more question though.  I made an iso of a dual-layer disc, but it only shows the total size of 4004 megs.  However, the file size of the ISO on my drive is 7.74GB.  What's up?  I've read about people using UI to "view layer 1" of an ISO, but I can't seem to find an option or setting that would let me do this.  Am I missing something?

The reported '4004 MB' is total size of files in ISO 9660 volume. Please emulate this ISO by SoftDisc and see the size by windows explorer.

Well, it says 3.91GB when I mount the image and check the properties in Explorer.  I thought it was a dual layer disc though.  This one is Champions of Norrath for the PS2, and I don't know what the heck is going on.  I'm trying to back it up playable, but I can't even find some of the files that are supposedly supposed to be there from the instructions for "ripping it to DVD5".

PS2 games may have some hidden files, that's why them were not reported by UI.
