Hi, I've been using UltraISO for a while now without any problems (on a Win 98SE machine).Since I installed WindowsXP Pro SP2 (clean install, not upgrade), I've been getting an error when UltraISO trys to open ISO files. It gives the error message "input file and output file are the same file"?? It only happens to ISO files - it can open Bin/Cue etc fine. Anyone got any ideas? I've tried installing a different version, but I got exactly the same message. (v7.2 and v7.25 I think) Posted by Grim_Reaper on May 19 2005,10:35
Think I've found out what the error is, but can't find how to sort it out.It looks like it's trying to 'Convert To ISO' rather than just opening the file. Windows XP doesn't seem very good when it comes to editing how programs are opened - all I can do is choose which program to use to open files. Posted by xoben on May 19 2005,19:30
You can associate .ISO with UltraISO to resolve this problem.
