I have a backup emergency recovery boot cd ISO image file that when burned boots to a backup recovery/partitioning menu.  I want to add files to the recovery boot iso file so instead of having the original program cd AND a recovery boot cd, I will have the original program files on the same cd as the recovery boot cd.  However, after adding the program files, no matter how I save the original recovery ISO or how I burn it, the cd will only boot partially into the recovery and then stops saying it can't find a file that IS in fact in a folder on the cd.

In fact, if I simply save the original recovery boot ISO (or delete a text file and then save) the cd still only partially boots.  I have also tried extract boot file and build from scratch but no worky.  I tried with WinISO and it does the same thing.  But when I burn the original recovery boot ISO it boots all the way to the recovery environment without problems!

Anyone have any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?

Hi Brain, which backup/restore program are you using ? Ghost, DriveImage, TrueImage or someone else?

Thanks for the quick response!

The program is VCOM's Recovery Commander 2.  I'm trying to add VCOM's Partition Commander 9 to the Recovery Commander's recovery boot cd so that I have both programs on the same cd and it be bootable to the Recovery Commander's recovery environment.  I've done this before with my older Partition Magic and Drive Image progs but for some reason I just can't get this to boot all the way to the recovery environment with these VCOM progs.

Sorry, I do not know much about VCOM's products. It is better to ask VCOM for a solution to your problem.
