Is there any difference between CD-ROM with DVD-ROM image (* iso, * bin/*.cue)?
Someone tell me that if DVD-ROM create image in CD-ROM image format.
The DVD burner will not apply DVD burning from image.
Even the image file size is bigger (2~3G) than CD-ROM (400~500MB).
Because of the format is wrong.
Does it is ture?
I do not know how to make a DVD_ROM format image.
I tried many utilities (UltraISO, CD creater, NERO,..) but no one can let me change the image format (CD VS DVD image).
Could you tell me it is ture?

There is no difference. You can burn a small ISO (for example, 300MB) to DVD disc with no problem.

Thanks~
By the way,
Does the image (e.g. *.nrg) file that created by NERO or UltraISO is the same?

?
*HOW* do you do this?

I've only gotten this to work by using .ISO format.
Why can't I do this using Alcohol MDF, or CCD or any other format?  Surely CCD and MDF support DVD, right?

If I make the image, it says "wrong media for this compilation".
It only will work if I burn it to a CD, or if I save it as an ISO image :(

The original poster's question was either misunderstood or something, because he has the same problem I have.

How do you create a DVD-compatible image in another file format besides .ISO ?
