3) Tips for setting Daemon-Tools 4.x & Virtual CloneDrive 5.1.4.x

  - Edit a configuration file named vdrive.ini (located in installation folder of UltraISO, for example "c:\program files\ultraiso"), change DrvCount and drive letter settings to the proper value

Browse to installation folder of Daemon Tools 4.x and select deamon.exe, and click 'Open').

What is the real dimension of installation file of UltraISO 8 Premium edition? 2,68 MB (2.817.476 byte) or 2,68 MB (2.820.737 byte)?

just an easy question:  any need to uninstall UltraISO 7.66 ME version before installing new UltraISO 8.0 PE version...?  ???

There is no need to uninstall previous versions. Just setup new version and keep registered with your previous registration information.

The download versions in download.com and in versiontracker.com differ in size. The one in version tracker is newer and matches the 2,820,911 bytes size that Xoben commented.

I just don't seem to understand why you change the file on the server so often? I couldn't recollect any other software that is updated so  frequently without changing the version number.

That's quite inconveniently when you're don't know if your installed software is the latest one. Why don't you just wait for the next planned version to add these minor updates to the software?

It is better to provide a solution for persons who encountered this kind of bugs before a new release is available.

the reason is, UltraISO uses a whitelist and every silent update contains a new regged user
