UltraISO v8.6.3.2056
Windows XP x64 Professional w/ SP2
AMD X2 5600+ / 4GB DDR2-667 / Samsung SH-S182M

I've burned about 5 dual layer UDF DVDs now, ranging from 6.2-7.95GB and consisting of one file each. Each DVD is corrupt and gives me an I/O error (after hanging for a while) when attempting to do any sort of operation with the file once it reaches the second layer. The only possibility is UltraISO being the culprit. Is there a specific manner you're supposed to create UDF DVDs? This is what I did (pretty straightforward):

1. File -> New -> UDF DVD Image
2. Right click on CD/DVD space bar -> 8.5(7.95)GB
3. Drag video01.mkv (7.6GB) to disc layout
4. Press F7 (Burn)
5. Load DL DVD into drive
6. Click Burn

Now when I try to do anything after its burned successfully, I get an I/O device error after hanging for a bit. Same problem on multiple computers, so the DVD is definitely garbage. Was just wondering if I was possibly doing something wrong or if there's a fix? Thanks... still love UltraISO regardless of this hiccup.

Just did that step by step, UltraISO works properly.

OS: Windows XP SP2, 32bit
Sample File: 20070815_221745.iso , 7.71 GB (8,282,763,264 bytes)
Recorder: LG GSA-H20L, firmware 1.01
Media: DVD+R Dual Layer, 8.5GB, MITSUBISHI and ANV
Verify: MD5 signature

Suggestion: Create an ISO image first, emulate with Daemon-Tools (or other virtual drive program) and make sure it works, then burn it on another computer.

Tested on another computer, UltraISO worked as well.

The DL DVDs I burned with the previous version of UltraISO (v8.2.3.2056) work fine, but this version seems to fail for me at the moment. Here's a link to a screenshot of what it looks like when I tried copying a file back to my HDD.

The DL UDF DVDs I burned with Cheetah and Nero are perfect. I wanted to test to see if it was possibly my new burner, but it just seems to be this latest version of UltraISO that doesn't want to burn DL UDF DVDs correctly. Single layer works fine. I'll try reinstalling and test it again tomorrow. Need to pick up some more DVDs.

I'll edit this post with updated information after I've burned another DL DVD. Thanks for the replies...
