1# Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 (Service Pack 2)1# Recorder: (F:)PLEXTOR DVDR PX-716A 1.11 1# Write Speed: 8X (11080 KB/s) 2# Media type: DVD-R 3# Number of blocks in ISO image is 514076 4# Preparing media ... 5# Requesting burn at 8X speed 6# Setting optimum power calibration ... 7# DVD-R/RW media failed to set OPC I am using the PX-716A via a firewire bridge instead of a direct IDE connection. I haven't tested it yet using an IDE connection. It could be that if the PX-716A were connected via an IDE port that I would not have this failure. Does anyone know if PX-716A DVD-RW burners usually allow for Optimum Power Calibration? (It seems to me they should given the specs.) Posted by xoben on Jun. 13 2008,09:59
This error will be ignored, some drives can work without this.
