Topic: Volume label name cut short

I have been put in charge of making exact copies of some important DVD's for my boss to an ISO image file that he will store on a hard drive in case the originals get damaged.
The Volume label on the original DVD is (28 characters): CS3 Master Collection Disc 1
But on the ISO image it creates it shortens it to (16 characters): CS3 Master Colle
Only if I load the ISO image into UltraISO do I see the full Volume Label name- any other software when loaded and or burned will be this shortened name. I even did Tools/Change ISO Volume Name- which when loaded showed the correct volume name, and doing the change did not help it either.

Maybe there is a limit to Volume Name characters in the program that I am not aware of?- thus I did not post in bugs.

Certainly not in my computer as I have many DVDs that have long names that do show.
Thank you for any help :)

Please use 'File'->'New'->'UDF DVD image' to avoid this kind of problem.

Thank you, that's great xoben, sweeeet!    Worked very nicely. I had selected before 'Data CD/DVD Image' as thought that is correct for making an image of a DVD that contains applications.
So I presume I will use 'UDF DVD image' for all my DVDs now :)

Thank you again! :D
