Why do I get an extra drive letter in Windows 7?

I have done to Tools, Configuation, Virtural Drive and change the default from 1 to 0 and reboot. The virtural drive letter remains. The only way to fix this is to remove UltraISo v 9.35.

Any ideas..

Thanks

I would assume that setting virtual drive to 0 should remove the extra drive, but if you know you won't be using the virtual drive feature included with UltraISO i would suggest you uncheck isodrive during installation of UltraISO like i did. Then you won't get that extra drive.

For an answer to your questions why setting virtual drive to 0 does not remove the virtual drive i guess someone else have to answer that question since i have no idea. I never used the virtual drive feature of UI.

This is a UAC-related problem. Please right click on desktop icon of UltraISO, choose 'Run as Administrator' from popup menu, then try again.

PS: You mau also uncheck "Setup ISO CD/DVD emulator (ISODrive)" on setup procedure to avoid this kind of problem.
