HELP! I've tried Ultra Iso before on XP systems with no problems, but now when I try to burn an iso image on my new laptop I get the error message "error setting write page mode". I tried different versions of UltraISO, including the present one 9.3.6.2750 and they all give the same error message.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a Vostro 1720 by Dell and the CD/DVD unit is HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GT10N ATA Device (apparently from LG Electronics) Native Win 7 works fine in writing it, but I'd like to use UltraISO...

Xoben, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! That solved my problem and you probably solved a problem that Dell could not solve where Win 7 would not burn a "system restore disk" to that same drive (although otherwise the drive worked fine) .

I'm surprised that I missed that posting when I searched on my problem on this forum. Thanks so much for replying!
