I got this error while trying to burn to DVD, this is the first problem I have ever encountered.
I have previously burnt to Memorex DVD+R DL disks without problems.

I just realised you need some more info:
XP Pro SP3
Version: UltraISO Premium 9.3.6.2750

The Error occurs every time I try to burn this set of files.

means: "CANNOT WRITE MEDIUM – INCOMPATIBLE FORMAT"
Possible problem: your DVD writer does not support the disc you used.
Suggestion: Upgrade firmware of your NEC ND-6500A to latest version and try again.

Thank you for making sense of the error.

I updated my software but this DVD is not supported in the firmware.
This seems the only drawback of buying laptops, the CD/DVD drive is OEM, so NEC will not issue new firmwares even though a 2010 update is available but will not install on an OEM device.
I also tried extracting the .exe so I could mod the ISO, but this is not possible either.

It looks like I will have to be careful which discs I buy in the future, or maybe buy a new device.

Thank you for the help
