I added 1 virtual drive and mounted an image. When I was done with the image, I unmounted it and went under configuration and changed the number of virtual drives to zero. The drive then shows up under Other of My Computer with a red circle and a question mark on it.

Once I reboot, the drive returns. In short, I cannot remove the virtual drive.

I am on a Windows XP SP3 box with no other CD drive vitalization software.

Suggestion:
1) Re-start Windows
2) Run UltraISO, make sure that no image is loaded, and set 'Number of device' to 'None'
3) Re-Start Windows again

Thank you for replying.

I already did as you suggested, several times.

I ended up uninstalling UltraISO because that was the only way I could get rid of the virtual drive.

There appears to be a bug or a conflict but the only other CD software I have installed is ImgBurn and CDBurnerXP.

I reinstalled on a box with a fresh install of XP and got the same results.

I also find I cannot access files in the mounted image. This certainly appears to be a bug.

I uninstalled again and installed Daemon Tools which works perfectly. Not trying to promote another product, just showing that another drive emulator does work with the same hardware.
