I'm unable to boot from the USB flash drive after opening the Windows 7 Repair CD and then writing it to the HP v125w 8GB USB flash drive using UltraISO 9.3.6.2750 in USB-HDD+ mode.  When I try to boot from the USB flash drive it hangs with a flashing cursor.  I have an EVGA X58 3X SLI motherboard with Award BIOS.  Booting from the USB flash drive only works if I use USB-HDD mode when writing.  Why does booting fail if the USB flash drive is USB-HDD+ but work if it is USB-HDD?

I've experienced several issues like that or even similar, all I can say is your change of getting that fixed this side of 20?? or ever is slim to none.

your probably gonna be dumped with some dirty reg hack fix or told some lame excuse about why it doesn't work.

This is a BIOS compatible problem. It is recommanded to use USB-HDD+ mode only if USB-HDD mode does not work properly.
