Hi. It's been a while since I came here.

I am trying to fit 5 game installers into a single 4.7 GB DVD. These games do not require CD verification to run since they're downloaded on-line versions and their installers can be run from any folder.

My only problem is that I'm short on space on a clean DVD. The games (and their acronyms) are:

- Starcraft - Anthology (BW)
- Diablo II (D2)
- Diablo II - Lord of Destruction (LOD)
- Warcraft III - Reign of Chaos (ROC)
- Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne (TFT)

I plan to put 5 folders in the DVD root, 1 for each install.

I noticed that there are 2 folders with exactly the same content, but they're from different installers. The 'DirectX' folder found on D2 has exactly the same size than the one found on ROC, 36 MB in size. It got me wondering if everything would fit in the DVD should I remove one of those 36 MB, and, apparently it fits! However, I would corrupt one of the installers should it require access to 'DirectX'.

I am now wondering if it's possible to use one of the 'DirectX' folders as a 'shortcut-style' to the other real 'DirectX' folder without the installers of both games suspect anything fishy going on.

If this is possible, what steps must I do in UltraISO? Notice that this is really for burning a physical DVD, not an image file.

Thank you. Eagerly awaiting answers.

In File > Properties check the Optimize box.
This will de-dup the image of duplicate files but still keep the same folder structure.
