I have the same problem. What else do you want us to describe. UltraIso no longer allow to add an ISO.
My problem started when I click on detect. I even re-install the program and removed all registry items with the name ultraIso, but after installing it again, no more Virtual drives to add

Just  bought UltraISO 9.3.6.

Got the same message: No Virtual CD/DVD drive found!

I'm using Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

And - yes, I've run it as Administrator...

Any ideas?

this appears when you load a virtual drive  ....
if you close ultraiso  whitout ...
to unmound the virtual drive  ..

because i have the same problem today ....
what you now can do.. to fix it  ...

remove ultraiso en use a registercleaner  ...
restart the computer and afther reboot ..
instal ultraiso again ...
because it is the only way  ;to fix this ..
i think its a bug !!
bewarre in the future to unmount the virtual drive beforre ..turning off the computer...iff you forget this you wil have the same problem again

rope, thanks for reply.

When I go to "Virtual Drive" tab, all options are greyed (read-only), so I can't change the number of devices. When I hit "Detect", UltraISO locates DaemonTools and suggests to use it as an agent. And also changed option values are not saved :(

you forgot the inportant thing..... instal ultraiso whit administrator rights !!...
thats why you see now ... read only...i recommend you to instal ultraiso again , but now whit administrator rights....right clik on setup.exe and choose to instal unther  admin rights....

you can try  ....whitout a new instal from ultra iso , just  place your crusor on the icon of ultraiso and select to open it as the administrator....but iff this will help's ; i can not say!!!...so just try it...
edit :  in the early post  i said  you have to unmount the virtual drive beforre turning off the computer ; wel yesterday i forgot this to do so, because i was in a discusion whit someone ...nextdoor... conclussion i had to re-instal ulta iso again because virtual drive did't work ..
i had the same problem's a you ...after re-installing it's works  again ..

rope, it turned out that these are not administration rights to blame...

I chanced to see this in Event Viewer (the log is called Application Popup):

CODE
\??\C:\Programs\UltraISO\Drivers\ISODrive.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

So I assume that UltraISO v9.3.6 is incompatible with Win7 x64.

What I have found is that on windows x64 systems UltraISO is looking for the ISODrv64.sys driver in the C:\windows\system32\drivers directory and the file is not there it is being installed in the c:\windows\SysWOW64\drivers directory if you copy the ISODrv64.sys driver to the system32\drivers directory and retry Virtual drive you will see in now works. This was tested on the current version 9.3.6.2766

the sys driver ISODvr64.sys
only appears in the following directory..
C:Windows\SysWOW64\drivers
C:Windows\Program Files x86\UltraIso\drivers
