What is the ISO volume-filter for which I may set or not before I decide to create an ISO file from a CD/DVD?

ISO volume filter will bypass padding sectors (meaningless, all zero data) at the end of a burned CD/DVD, and get a smaller ISO in size.

Thanks for the clarification. I've been wondering what the ISO Volume filter is for too.
