Forum: UltraISO Topic: Virtual Mount Not Working in Windows 7 started by: Schwartz Posted by Schwartz on Sep. 13 2012,21:02
Hi, I've had ultraISO installed on a fully up to date Windows 7 machine. I have upgraded to the latest version of ultraISO 9.5.2.2836. It is a registered version. I have many ISO and ISW images. I have a virtual drive configured for K: and it shows up in explorer. When I try to click on an .ISO file and mount it to the virtual drive, it does nothing. The drive still says please insert a CD. If I open the .ISO file, UltraISO launches and opens the file without a problem. When it launches, I do get the UAC question, but after I say yes, it proceeds without a problem. I checked the event viewer, no errors. Any ideas? Posted by tsmith35 on Aug. 11 2013,18:12
I usually use < SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive > for mounting images. It's free and works great.
