@xoben

Would it be possible to add an 'Import image into current' option to EasyBoot?

This may come extremely handy when one would want to add files from a RockRidge image to an already-existing, but built-on-Windows .iso image.

The point would be, if I have an image I built using UltraISO, but in which I should like to include some things which would run on Linux, UltraISO provides no method of editing RockRidge FS attributes (the UNIX ugo|rwx style, plus group/user id and symlinks).

Now, if I would require to import the data from only one RockRidge .ISO, it would be simple - I would just use the RockRidge .ISO as a seed and add to it the Windows-based files.

But when I need to use data in two (or more) RockRidge .ISOs, I need presently boot in Linux, use mkisofs there (to get a merged RockRidge image), then finally come back to Windows and use the newly-created image as a seed. That's not fun :(

I was hoping you could provide a way of importing (into the current image) contents from other images, while retaining the RockRidge attributes.

Regards,
Mircea.

It is recommanded to use mkisofs to create this kind of bootable ISOs.
