it would be nice to use a drop down menu within the program to automatically check for updates as oppposed to visiting the site periodically.

You can join our mailing list by sending an e-mail to uinews-subscribe@ezbsystems.com, then you will receive notice for all new versions and bug fixes.

Joining a mailing list is a poor substitute for a industry wide standard auto-update feature.I feel this, reply to be a poor support example at work just here.
I would like to see a auto update feature as well.
I already get enough emails daily.
Ultraiso comes out once a year if that maybe twice if there was some critical bug.
Benefits of auto-update.
1) Faster distribution of bug fixes and critical updates or security fixes.
2) Secure connection between server and client can also be used to check licence key and detect hacked copies. (maybe covert pirated copies into sales)
3) Better customer service.
Benefits of email subscription. (drawbacks)
1) you get 1 email in between 200 others in any give day as a customer.
2) easily filtered as spam
3) no customer service risk is higher and outdated.
