I'm using UltraISO 7.6.5.1269 on WinXP.

This is a relatively minor problem, but it annoys me quite a bit because I encounter it often.  Here is the problem:

1.  Open an image file in UltraISO.

2.  Select a file in the image, and press F2 to enable the renaming of that file.

3.  Press Enter to disable file renaming.

4.  Press the Delete key.  Nothing happens.  You need to hit an arrow key to select a different file, then hit the other arrow key, to move back to the previous file, before the Delete key works.

Hello acidic, this is due to a small problem - no event is reported from windows system if you did not change the selected item.

PS: "Press Enter twice, then press the Delete key" is an acceptable solution?

I actually press Esc more often than Enter after entering rename mode for a file.  (I usually do it simply to copy the file name to the clipboard.)  But it doesn't matter which key is used.

Pressing Delete twice would be better than how it is now.  If you could make it so pressing Esc twice also worked, that would be great.

Thank you.

Thank you. It is ready now at < http://www.ezbsystems.net/dl.php?file=uiso7_me.exe > .

I downloaded and installed the file you linked to, but I don't see anything different in the behavior.  Hitting F2 and then pressing Enter twice (or pressing Esc twice), and then delete, does nothing.

In fact, I think the build I just installed is older, since now the status bar, when clicked, opens the web site (which is an issue that was corrected days ago).

It was just a wrong link.  It seems that F2/Esc/Esc/Delete (I didn't try F2/Enter/Enter/Delete) works in the version posted here:

Thank you very much.
