Hello,

I have tried to upload an image for my avatar, like so many other people.  I have made sure that each picture I uploaded, 3 in total, were 64x64 pixels.  I also used a different format for each one.  I used a somewhat decent piece of software for the .jpg and the .png.  For the .gif, the last one I uploaded, I used, 100% Plain Old Microsoft Paint that comes with the operating system.  All of them are listed starting like "uploaded_Profile of Raistlin...."  Not a single one of them gave me a preview, much less let me make the file my profile.  What could I being doing wrong.  There is nothing simpler than an old style .GIF in Microsoft Paint.  So why are there so many other profile pictures, many very advanced, using animated .GIF files?  How could they get that working when I cannot get a simple 64x64 working?  Is it possible my picture is actually 65x65 because I did not account for pixel 0, and that would be enough to mess up your program.  Please help, because when I participate in a forum, I would like to have my own profile.  Plus, I hate looking like a fool, having a bunch of uploaded profile images for other people to see that do not work.

Thank you for any help.

And I am starting this thread for any bugs that people have found and need help with while setting up there forum account for this forum, since they do not allow people to start thread folders, and EZB was not wise enough to start a forum folder having to do with the forum itself.  This is something every other one of the 100 or so forums I have been have at their base forum thread or thread folder listing.  We are using a forum, so maybe someone would like to talk about the forum itself, and not one of your programs.  That way, they can, at a later time, talk more efficiently about your programs on the forum.

So keep sending in bug reports after you answer my initial question.  Thank You.

Here is another bug I just found.  Why is it telling me and everyone else that I am offline, when I am obviously online as I am logged in and looking at my own post which claims I am offline.   ???

Is there a setting somewhere that says not to let people know when you are online, or is it a forum bug EZB never bothered to fix?

I ask because I have never seen a forum member Online.

Thanks,

Zaldor

It is a bit odd that my online status is OK.
