I'm using UltraISO 9.2.0.2536 on WinXP Pro SP3.  I'm having trouble with one particular floppy image file.  I have not used UltraISO enough to see if it happens with other image files.

On the bottom of < this page > there is a link to < this ZIP archive >.  In that archive is a floppy image, sample.ima.

When I extract sample.ima with UltraISO, using the UltraISO shell extension (i.e. Extract to...), the file \freedos\xmssize.com is always 0 bytes, even though it doesn't exist that way in the image file.  Obviously, given that it's 0 bytes, the file is empty.  The file content is not extracted by UltraISO.

This issue is 100% reproducible for me.

When I extract sample.ima with TeraByte's own < TBOSDT utility >, \freedos\xmssize.com is as it should be.

Thank you acidic for your bug report. We will check it and try to fix this problem at next release of UltraISO soon.

I was able to reproduce this issue with a totally different image file.  I can provide this image file via email, but cannot link to it or post it here.  Please let me know if you would like it emailed.

This is a very serious bug, as it means that some files cannot be extracted from images!

Seems to be corrected.  Thank you!

The fix is included in 9.3.0.2600, and the revision history throws it under the description "Some minor improvements and bug fixes".  So that was a "minor" fix--the inability to extract certain files!  Wow.  I hope I never encounter a "major" bug in UltraISO.
