Hi Xoben,

I've noticed a few bugs in UltraISO both on XP 32-bit and Vista 64-bit.

here goes:

1. (EDIT: same on both vista and Xp) I have 2 virtual drives (ultraiso) set up since last year and have updated ultraISO on each new release. I installed the latest (9.3.1.2633) and my previously working VDs are not working as seperate drives. ie: when I mount an ISO to one drive, the same ISO image is visable and clickable on the second drive. when I unmount it from either drive, it unmounts it from the other one also.

2. when ultraISO finishes saving a newly made ISO (various files dragged in > save as ISO. the progress bar/dialogue pops up but does not close at the end, it says 100% and closes only when I close the program.

3. also a small UI thing, the info on the new burn image dialogue is very squashed together vertically. very noticable on my 22" monitor.

regards,
Sam

This part of program is not changed in version 9.3.1.2633. It is recommanded to uninstall the privious version , setup and try again.

This is a known problem to all versions of UltraISO be fixed.

Just checked this issue, no problem was encountered on our Vista 64 systems.

uninstalled, cleaned the reg and re-installed. 1 and 3 are fixed now.

one problem I am having on vista x64 is trying to set more than one virtual drive? if this is not a bug, how can i fix it? (i prefer 2 VDs)

This is a Vista UAC related problem.

Please right click on desktop icon of UltraISO, choose 'Run as Administrator' from popup menu, then try again.

Hey, I really love UltraISO and have for years.  Excellent product.

Okay I have a bug to report, and a recommendation for a fix.

I have a software suite, over 7G ISO file.  I wanted to break it into two chunks and save on two 4.7G dvds.  So, I loaded the extracted folder into UltraISO, and started deleting files from the new ISO area till I got it down to the right amount to fit on a DVD.  I did that.  Then I added back one more file.  Then I deleted it.  It showed a different amount free than the amount prior to adding the file.
It gives the wrong impression of how many bytes are left after cycling back and forth adding and deleting.  Your math is wrong.

Suggestion:  If I put a bunch of files into the ISO area and save it, and the amount exceeds the size of the target disk, then the software should give an option to fill one ISO file  as much as possible, then put the remaining files in a second ISO file, naming them with sequential numbers like user file name - Disk 1 of 2, etc.
