Hi, I have the latest UltraIso premium (9.3.5) on Windows 7 x64 ultimate.
When  I try to open (no mount) some files .mdf .mds with ultraiso I get this:
Class name:TfrmMain
Error type:EAccessViolation
Message: Access violation at adress 00452D31 in module 'UltraISO.exe'. read of adress FC1B97FD

If I try to mount these same files I don't get anyerrors

Why?

Help please.

Could you please send the small .MDS file to service@ezbsystems.com for checking?

I have a similar problem with the same type of access violation.

i open a *.bin image but instead ultraiso opens the corresponding *.cue file
in this image there is a video file (it's an image of a svcd cd)
then i want to extract the movie from this file by dragging it to a folder with left mouse button.
then i get a acces violation: access violation at adress 004113FA in module ultraiso.exe read of adress 830AA590
when i do the same procedure but right click the video file and choose extract to folder everything works fine.
if i remove the *.cue file from the directory, then the *.bin file gets opened, and there is no problem at all!

here is the text from the *.cue file:

FILE "BSVCD.BIN" BINARY
 TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
   FLAGS DCP
   INDEX 01 00:00:00
 TRACK 02 MODE2/2352

I have the same problem since I got my new computer with Windows 7 x64 last week. When I try to open, mount or convert a .mds or .mdf file UltraISO shows "EAccessViolation". These files worked, however, under Vista x86 without a problem. Will there be an update in the near future?

Thaks DaKo for the sample MDS file. Please check your e-mail box for an answer.

Thanks for your e-mail. I removed the old version completely and installed the test version, but the result is the same (this windows pops up when trying to convert the files):

< [IMG]http://www11.picfront.org/picture....MG] >

When I try to mount the image Windows says the following ("The medium can't be accessed"):

< [IMG]http://www11.picfront.org/picture....MG] >

When I try to open the the .mds or .mdf file UltraISO says that they are in an unknown format. However, they worked under Vista (SP2) and XP (SP2). I just tried them on the PC of my father with Windows XP SP3 and UltraISO 9.3.2 and it strangely gave me the same error :(.

What could be the problem?

EDIT:
I now tried MagicISO in order to convert or open the file. It also crashes :(. Could this be a problem with the files themselves? That's pretty strange as they were working before. I will now try Alcohol and Deamon Tools to see if it works.

EDIT2:
I now installed Daemon Tools Lite and the .mds file ... loaded fine :)! So the files should be ok. Maybe the developers of Alcohol made some changes to the .mds/.mdf format as it's proprietary?
