Topic: Adding Files to Iso

When dragging & dropping a file from within the local Ultra ISO file/directory list to an opened in Ultra ISO image & saving the changed image it appears to go OK.  But after burning the image with Nero v7 Ultra the added file cannot be read off of the CD.  The rest of the original CD is OK after burning.  I know that this worked in earlier versions.  I could revert to version 8.6.0.1936 & try it.  But I deleted all my versions earlier than that off of my hard disk.  TIA

Hello Marshall,

Could you please send a copy of UltraISO.exe (which you are using now) to service@ezbsystems.com for detailed checking?

Regards
Xoben

Thank you Marshall for your help to us.  Now comes a solution: please run the .REG file in attachment to avoid this problem with Nero 7.

I think I have a similar problem.  When I add a few files to an iso and then test that iso with VMware.  It does not boot.  What I use the old copy of the iso it works fine.  Ultraiso breaks it somehow and VMware will just halt.

Thanks,
Jason

I fixed it.  I did both the Nero fix mentioned above and the folder priorities fix as well.

Thanks,

ired of dealing with the paranoid and greedy attitudes expressed through Mr. Bill Gates and Company ? Ready to defy their collosal Micro$oft money magnet for something free and simple to use ? No border guards, or 'Big Brother watching' techniques behind the monitor screen to control your every mouse move. Expand your horizons by exploring the other side of the arena using another alternate than what you struggle with now. The ultimate insult to injury facing Gates'delusions of grandeur is to switch him off and pursue a different channel. This is possible for you, by choosing to consider who should be in charge of your surfing habits. It comes down to the proverbial 'us' or 'them' that navigate or propogate the web. YOU choose by having an option, instead of a demand by them on what you use. Here is another viable way of paying nothing and gaining everything. FREELY !

And this hack fix will be released soon on a new program update?

UltraISO is a great program for handling ISO image formats, and other common compressed image formats, plus the price is low compared to other applications of this kind. With this tool you can write images on a disc, mount on a virtual drive, create an image from a disc or convert it to different formats, create bootable CDs/DVDs, etc.
The interface has remained the same across all versions, and a new explorer window is available now, with double panes for viewing local files and folders, as well as the structure of the image. Adding files from one part to the other is easily done using drag and drop, or using the context menus of both panels.
Save audio CDs as BIN/CUE, IMG/CCD/SUB, and other image formats and burn an exact copy of the original with no quality loss. Also the users can rip Audio CDs by opening the disc from UltraISO, selecting the storage location where the files are automatically saved as WAVE sound.
Additionally, it enables users to shrink ISO images with six different compression levels to choose, from fastest to heavy through fast, normal, small and smallest compression. The resulting file outputs in ISoZipped.
The application is easy-to-use, as all windows are ordered logically. For your information, the trial version is not working with files of more than 300MB.

Nice Pantz. I wonder if it was the Neo or folder priorites that fixed this.
