Hello,
I've downloaded a .DAA file from the internet and I'm getting the following message with UISO:
--------------------------- Error --------------------------- Invalid or unknown image file format! --------------------------- OK Â ---------------------------
MagicISO also fails (freezes) opening this file but PowerISO opens it just fine. Testing the file with PowerISO gave the following result:
[20:04:15] Testing begin. [20:04:15] Total sectors: 693677 [20:07:23] Testing finished without error.
UISO lists the DAA file format as supported. The file is 900MB+ in size so sending it isn't convenient.
Thank you, ~/gnfpt

Hello,
I was able to create a small test image. I'm adding it to this thread for analysis.
Thx, ~/gnfpt

It seems that DAA format is changed , we would like to support the new format if a specification is available.

Hi Xoben,
The problem is with the compression level. UIso works great with normal compression DAA files. Not so well with "better" and "best" (names taken from PowerISO).
That's where the problem lies! You fix the compression level and everything should work just fine again.
Thanks, ~/gnfpt
