I think i have discovered a bug or something:{[[

I m trying to create a dvd which will be a compilation of some of the bootable cds i have. Here is what i did:

Firstly, I created a lame menu of two commands:

1st : executes: run ubcd.bif  //ultimate boot cd
2nd : executes: run mycd.bif // my custom cd

Then i started UltraISO and extracted the boot information from the ubcd.iso  to ubcd.bif . I copied all the files from the ubcd.iso to the root of dvd compilation and copied the ubcd.bif  file to the ezboot directory. Everything worked like a charm. Then i verified that Ultimate boot cd selection works properly and yep.. everything went as expected.

But that is not what happened with the mycd.bif.  This is an bootable iso approx 670MB created with Nero. It has hard disk emulation and it boots properly (verified with virtual pc). WinISO extracts a file of 677 MB as boot information file (with extension wbt but this is actually the same) which boots properly (tested) with Bootable CD Wizard. However if i try to extract the boot information with UltraISO i get a .bif file with size 0!!! I experimented with knoppix and hiren boot cds and ultraISO extracts the boot information successfully. However it still seems to be unable to extract the boot information from a hard disk emulating iso made by nero. I double checked that with another iso (mycd2) image i also created with nero.

The problem still remains. Although i have previously used various wbt files (made with winiso) to an easyboot project (i simply renamed them to .bif and all until now have worked properly) the mycd.wbt still does not work. If i renamed it then when i select the option in virtual pc or vmware the emulated system simply hangs. No info nothing. So this is not just a limitation of ultraiso but also a limitation of easyboot. UltraISO cannot create the boot information file of that image and easyboot cannot read it even if it is created via winISO.

omg.. what a headache. Am i doing something wrong? Is there something i don't see? any idea? :{{

note: again clarifying:( both mycd1.bif and mycd2.bif files created by WinISO have been checked with BCDW and they work properly:{{{
