Balder thank you very much but that does not work I still have no access to my USB hard drive.

I'll explain exactly what I did:

I have an USB SDD Hard Disk with a folder named "GHOST" with several images GHOST.
In this Hard Disk i use grub4dos with your fabulous script "winbuilder_complete" with my EasyBoot ISO.

I remade a Ghost image without loading automatic image GHO

In my EasyBoot ISO i have a ghost.ima file in easyboot folder. (View http://www.monsterup.com/upload/1293020714599.jpg)

CONFIG.SYS
CODE
LASTDRIVE = Z
install=keyb.com fr,,keyboard.sys

AUTOEXEC.BAT
CODE
@echo off
SET TZ=GHO-01:00
cls
keyb fr,,
GHOST.EXE

When i boot to my Hard Drive all work perfectly, i execute "run ghost.ima" and GHOST starts normally.

But in GHOST application if I try to load a Ghost image of my Hard Drive USB, my Hard Drive USB don't appear ... (View http://www.monsterup.com/upload/1293020889335.jpg -> In [1:1] [] Lecteur NTFS i have nothing  :( )

Nota: My Hard Drive is in NTFS, FAT32 you think that it would work better ?

Thank's for all  :p

Well isn’t [1:1] your USB harddrive (USB SDD Hard Disk)?
As far as I can understand the USB harddisk shows up as [1:1]  ???
But unfortunately you cannot access anything from inside – correct?
If this is a correct description – Ghost can see the USB harddisk but not access data from inside of it :(

I have never noticed such a strange behaviour from Ghost ???

It shouldn’t matter if you use FAT32 or NTFS :O

But what version of Ghost are you running?

@xlkiller

For the record: I’m drawing the conclusion that Ghost CAN see the USB harddisk but you cannot access anything inside of it :O

I think it’s a very good idea to step up the version of Ghost you are using.

Ghost-2003 has limits.
You cannot ghost Vista\Win-7 system properly as example ???

Use instead ghost-11  :)
Tip: you can find this version in all Hiren 10-versions, but not in Hiren-12 and to extract Ghost.exe (Hiren use UHA-zip-file) you can use my script easyboot-cab.script and option to extract files from any UHA-file :laugh:

I have done some tests and have no problem to access ghost-images on USB device (not tested with USB SDD Hard Disk – only “normal” USB harddisk and USB stick\thumbdrive).

I strongly suggest that you test a simple USB stick and see if you can access files and folders from such device (you should be able to see files and folders as using explorer in Windows).

Excellent done @xlkiller :laugh:

But this batch-line is a little bit confusing to me ???
GHOST.exe -CLONE,mode=pload,src= ? :GHOST\MYGHO.GHO,dst=1 –RB

You USB harddisk (your source “scr”) is seen by Ghost as C: (or 1:1) and destination – well isn’t it 2:1 or something ???
