I was thinking this product would be terrific if you could put the menu and software put in the iso on a External Usb Hard drive or a USB key.
Is there a way?
Please, if it's possible, it would be a great add-on!

The problem is that most machines won't boot from these external USB devices so it's kind of a futile exercise.

Not, I don't think it's futile exercice:
1) All new pc should work with it.
2) If it's not tried, indeed, it never will work!
3) Trying will make pc makers create a "standart" to the end!

So why not but this option?
Are there technical difficulty to put an image on a HD or USB key?

I had the same idea...and i doubt that ezboot will be a
useful tool to accomplish this.

Why? Well, as it is correct that recent pc's (i guess 1j-1.5j old), are able to boot from a usb-connected stor. dev. (select boot from usb-mass storage device in bios).

But what about the floppy-emulation which is used by ezboot/nero to create a bootable cd? Will a pc accept this kind of behavior from a usb-dev.? I doubt it!

If you want to have some kind of bootmenu, you can use e.g.
the bootmenu of the win98 bootfloppy and edit/enhance it to
your needs. It's possible to create a medium with a bootmenu this way (e.g. hiren's bootcd).
