hello balder ,
Thanks for your instruction. This is a good instruction for me as I don't know that before. This is a very good way for making Easyboot CD/DVD Menu.
But what I'm now making is Easyboot usb stick. Every Easyboot software are individual , but just the menu.lst and other say win7pe.lst , partition.lst , Acronis.lst , etc.
For every Easyboot software , there's only bootmenu.ezb and default.ezb , so how can I jump back to the menu.lst ?
Thanks.

I think you underestimate the power of EasyBoot Create your own menu you are not stuck to use only bootmenu.ezb and default.ezb
Open bootmenu.ezb and makes changes (different background and different menu colours and different menu commands or whatever) then push on 'Save As' and set new name to menu - how about allgames.ezb You can use any name but less than 12 letters - so allgames fit in perfect
Or create a new 'Main menu' (chose 'Main menu' in menu type) and simply push save and give this new main menu a nice name - how about balder - he, he just joking
You can also create a new sub-menu and in 'main menu' create a new menu command: run allgames.ezb (or whatever name you use to your sub-menu)
Note: You can insert at least 9 menu commands to each menu and in theory have 35 sub-menus in work in same build. I say it's close to no limit how big your build can grow with sub-menus and a lot of menu commands in each menu!
Quote: "how can I jump back to the menu.lst" Some information concerning grub vs EasyBoot in post nr; 16 HERE
Using grub - jump to and from grub back to EasyBoot - can be a problem as you most likely are interested to hide (create Partition) and using password in Easyboot (the password approach is not the problem but 'Creating Partition' which is hided is a problem for grub) Best approach is probably using 'grub-kicker-image' to call a menu.lst (can have a different name on root of USB device 'format.lst' or whatever) But I have my doubt it works to 100% - perhaps sometimes and no guaranties
You may need to experiment on this field to find out what is possible and what is not. But generally there is problem using grub in hided partition the way we do in EasyBoot.

This is a little confusing what you mean

Hello balder ,
Thanks for your brief instructions. By taking reference of yours , I made my own mainmenu and by use of .ezb , I can jump (as you said) to any .ezb (any software) I want. It's not complicated but takes time to make it. But it worth to have a nice relationshop between Easyboot softwares.
So thanks again for your effort. Thanks

@allgames71
Some more information....
You have buttons: Make ISO, Burn, Tools and then button Options
Push to Options>>Configuration... and there you can set 'Screen Resolution' and 'Screen Mode' Note: I always use '256 Color(8bits)' and mostly '1025x768' as Screen Resolution. I use that as it to 99,99% works to all different motherboards.
If choosing 800x600 and 256 Color(8bits) you are guarantied it never fails to any computer (including 'mini-laptops') If choosing 1024x768 16M Color(24bits) it wont work to computers 'with lower level graphic capacity' - typically those 'mini-laptops' that have poor graphic support in 'BIOS-mode'
Note: background picture (***.bmp) must in any case always exactly match settings above (8-bit bmp-picture 1025x768 as example) otherwise you get 'Background open Image Error' - menu is still working - but no background is showed
Basically you can only use one 'Password' and that is to the 'Main Menu'
------------------------
In Options>>Configuration... There is also a 'Enable Smooth Video' that I still haven't figured out how to use - I'll ask you @allgames71. Do you have any clue what this is and how to use it
regards balder

hello balder ,
I'm really sorry that I though I've finished this topic already , and that's why I have'nt come back into here again for the time being.

I'm sorry I've no idea what this is this button for. If you don't raise this question , I even have'nt observe there's such thing.
For the hidden primary partition. I've made it one password only when the boot menu pop up. As you said , I just make all the software like a dvd. It means , every software item are in the starting menu with submenu , and use run xxx.ezb function to call the other softwares.
Thanks for all your tutorial and sorry I can't help you. Thanks
